Golden Wok's Eggplant in Garlic Sauce
I’ve been known to drive by three or four other Chinese restaurants to get my Chinese food fix at Golden Wok at 7476 Broadway in Red Hook. Saturday’s mountain of eggplant with garlic sauce was sweet and only slightly spicy, fat creamy slices of very fresh Asian eggplant, cooked au point. And less than five bucks. Until eggplant season is upon us, this is the next best thing.

That’s it!!! I am coming to Rhinebeck. Your taste in everything is right up my alley. Have you had Black Pudding at all? Will gladly get you some.
